Students will think from the point of view of the layers of the Earth.
1. First they explain why each layer is important.
2. Then, they pick one and write from its perspective, explaining why this layer contributes the most to Earth's success.
3. Next, they pick a second layer and argue *against* the first response. This layer disagrees! It thinks that **it** is the most important.
4. Finally, students can turn their thinking into a skit, comic, story, or whatever else you approve of.
Worksheet
In Part 1, students explain the benefits of each layer of earth. Then, they write from the point of view of the layer they think is most important. In Part 2, they pick another layer and argue from its point of view.
