If your students' stories are packed with endless ninja fights or arguments between frenemies, it's time to expose them to a wider range of conflicts.

Objective

Students will learn to apply a range of conflict types to their stories.

The four types of conflict

  • Character vs Character
  • Character vs Nature
  • Character vs Society
  • Character vs Self

My students had to include character vs self and could make a choice between the remaining three.
