A “big idea” organizer is a visual metaphor. Up top, it has a large, abstract idea. In the case of Power, this big idea could be:
- Power comes in many forms
- Power can be used or abused.
- Power can be visible or invisible.
- Power leads to change.
- Or whatever ideas students come up with!
Supporting the big idea are 3-5 columns. Students will fill those columns with specific examples that support their big idea.
