Summary

In this lesson, students will not just fix passive sentences, but break active sentences as they learn to put the star of the sentence first.

  1. First, students will practice re-writing passive sentences as active sentences.
  2. Then, they'll go the other way, writing active sentences as passive sentences.
  3. I give them a mix of both styles, and they have to create all active sentences.
  4. We correct the final worksheet.
