Objective
Students will note what, exactly, makes a presentation great.
Giving presentations is scary, difficult, and rarely taught. Help your students become better public speakers by first watching the greats and taking careful notes.
Some specific videos to watch:
- Steve Jobs' introduction of the original iPhone (this is long, just watch pieces)
- Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream
- Derek Sivers' Weird, or Just Different?
- Nancy Duarte's The Secret Structure of Great Talks
- Garr Reynold's Story, Emotion, and the art of the 21st Century Presentation
