Students will analyze the clues in these mixed-up sentences and determine their correct order.

It may be helpful to go through this lesson first.

Original Paragraph The Moon may merely be Earth’s satellite, but it has some serious influence over the planet. The Moon’s gravitational pull actually tugs on the Earth’s water, causing the ocean levels to rise and fall. That same lunar gravity has also slowed Earth’s rotation, giving us gradually longer days. Finally, the Moon keeps the tilt of the Earth at a stable 23.5°. This gives us our four predictable seasons. So even though it’s just a satellite, don’t underestimate the Moon!
