When I see a quote, I often think, “That’s not quite right!”

  1. Students rewrite the quote for a 5yo. They explain how the quote is slightly wrong.
  2. Now they'll rewrite the quote, creating a rough version and a few "catchy" versions.
  3. Next, they write to Einstein, explaining their revised quote.
  4. Finally, they write back *as Einstein* who defends his original wording.
