Summary
How do you know, when you’re walking through a class, whether the students are receiving appropriate work?
- Read about at least one of [these best-practices](https://www.nagc.org/resources-publications/gifted-education-practices) in gifted education.
- Print the [Brief Observation Form](https://www.byrdseed.tv/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Brief_Observation_Form.pdf). Compare this form to the one you are currently using. Specifically, note the integration of differentiation practices into the form.
- Conduct at least **three** brief observations using the form. If you have a required form for your campus or district, simply fill them both out. This is ideal, as it can give you a strong impression of the difference between them with regard to gifted strategies.
- Conduct the follow-ups of the observations using [this to guide you](https://www.byrdseed.tv/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/observation-followup.pdf).
- Reflect on this process using [these reflection questions](https://www.byrdseed.tv/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/observation-reflection.pdf).
