Implementation Guide
So Byrdseed.TV is approved. The purchase order has been sent. What’s next?
Here’s a structure that helps teacher start using Byrdseed.TV with their students.
Week 1: Setup + First Use
You’ll receive login credentials from us. This usually takes less than two business days. If it’s taking longer, check with your purchaser and your spam folder.
Send a simple launch email. If you’re enrolling dozens of people, start with a small group first.
Subject: Byrdseed.TV Access — Start Here
Hi team,
We now have access to Byrdseed.TV — a library of ready-to-use video lessons for our most advanced students.
Get set up here: [Login link we provide]
Start here: Try a “What’s In My Brain” activity this week. It takes 15 minutes, and there are examples across all content areas:
https://www.byrdseed.tv/wimb/Please send me your favorite student comment by Friday.
Give teachers something specific to try. Include a clear action and deadline. Don’t ask them to “explore the site.” They’ll get overwhelmed and never start.
Follow up on Monday with anyone who didn’t respond.
Weeks 2–4: Early Wins
Quick activities that work anywhere and are easy to run:
We also recommend a small set of videos each week.
Find Your Champions
After a few weeks, send this email:
We’ve had our Byrdseed accounts for three weeks. I’d love to see what your students have created. Send your favorite student sample or anecdote by Friday, the Xth. A photo or quick paragraph is perfect.
Maybe 20% of teachers will jump in immediately. Those teachers are your champions. Nurture them. They’ll drive adoption. Peer sharing carries weight.
Month 2+: Build Momentum
Rather than asking, “Are you using it?” try:
- What’s been your biggest challenge with extension activities?
- Have you found anything on Byrdseed that works for your tricky group?
- What would make it easier to try something new?
This keeps the tone supportive rather than evaluative.
Ask one champion to share briefly at a team meeting: “I tried this. Here’s what happened.” Teachers respond to concrete examples of student work.
You can also run a Byrdseed activity during PD:

Ongoing Support
We send a weekly email on Fridays with featured activities. For support, contact support@byrdseed.tv.
Some teachers won’t use Byrdseed.TV immediately. That’s normal. Keep lowering the barrier to entry. Share examples of student work. Many teachers join once they hear colleagues talking.
When it’s time to show impact, student work is your strongest evidence. Here’s how we approach usage data.
