The Intellectual Overexcitability

 

The overexcitabilities, identified by Polish psychologist Kazimierz Dabrowski, are ways that people can be more intense than their peers. The intellectual intensity is often seen in gifted students: a desire to go deeper and deeper into a topic, becoming overexcited by an idea.
