Objective

Students will encode and decode messages using the Pig Pen Cipher and compare it to the Shift Cipher.

Steps

First, we encode the name MUFFINS.
Next we decode a secret message about MY CAT.
Finally, students are free to play with the cipher and then compare it with the Shift Cipher.
