Objective

Students will learn the basics of the ancient game Go.

Go is played on a grid with black and white pieces. With my class, we all used whiteboards and started with small, 5×5 grids rather than the official 19×19 size.

Pieces are played on the intersections of lines, not in the squares. The goal is to surround opponents' pieces. In the end, whoever controls more of the board wins!
