Objective
Consider whether depth and complexity is actually leading to deeper thinking.
With 11 prompts of depth and complexity, it's easy to think that you need to cram as many of them in as possible. But, it's more important to be thoughtful. Use the prompts like seasoning. Pick a few that go well together and enhance the content you're teaching. Beware focusing too much on the icons themselves, as I did, and lose the larger purpose: we're trying to get students thinking in new ways.
