Objective
In this video, we'll make use of an inductive model of thinking as students explore geometric shapes.
With inductive thinking, we'll begin with examples, ask students to look for patterns, and develop rules. This is the opposite of deductive, where we begin with the rule, and then ask students to practice it.
We can also ask students to look for conflict between various shapes, identifying differences in angles, side length, and number of parallel sides.
Finally, students can create their own shapes that fit (or don't fit) a set of attributes.
